To package 3ds Max assets for import into Kraken, you must put the model and its referenced files inside a single folder that is at the root of the ZIP file. Within this folder, you can put the model and its referenced files in a single flattened folder, or you can organize the referenced files into any number of sub-folders.
You must give the ZIP file the extension .max.zip for Kraken to recognize it as a 3ds Max model. The file can be no larger than 5GB. Kraken uses the name of the ZIP file as the name of the asset, not the name of the model file within the ZIP.
For example, this diagram shows the model and its referenced files in a single flattened folder:

If you put the model and its referenced files in a single flattened folder, you do not need to update the paths in the model. Kraken can access the referenced files regardless of the paths in the model. When you download the asset, Kraken provides the files in the same organization that you uploaded them in.
Alternatively, you can use a nested folder structure as long as your model has updated relative paths to its referenced files. This diagram shows the model with its referenced files in sub-folders using relative pathing:

Then you can import the model as described in Importing assets.
