Exporting Blender assets for Lens

To export Blender assets so they are viewable in Lens:

For a Metal/Roughness workflow, use the Principled BSDF shader and put your maps in the correct slots. If texture maps are not used, apply a value or slide the slider bar to the appropriate level needed for each parameter.  Ensure that the shader is applied to the object and export the asset in .glTF format.

Applying the Principled BSDF shader to a Blender model

Kraken Pro does not support Specular/Gloss workflows for Blender assets in Lens.

Now you can import the model into Kraken and view it in Lens by following these steps:

  1. Import the model:
    – To add the model file to an existing Kraken asset, select the asset, go to the Files tab of the Preview panel, and add the model.
    – To add the model file to a new asset, click the + New button and import the model.
  2. Select the asset, and under its thumbnail image click View this model in 3D.
